One by Fr Florovsky, & Τα Άπαντα of 3 Fathers


Just a quick note. First, I have long believed that everyone should read 'The Ascetic Ideal in the New Testament' by Fr Georges Florovsky (photographed here in one of Harvard's libraries).

Also, a HT to Fr Luke Hartung for pointing out to me this page, where one can download zipped files of the works of St Maximos the Confessor, St Symeon the New Theologian, and St Gregory Palamas in Greek.

    Hello. I've been collecting secondary
    research on Florovsky for 5 years, have begun working through the archive of his papers at Princeton, etc. Where in the WORLD did you come across this photograph?

    Oh, wait! I just realised that while I first discovered the photo at the blog I mentioned, I seem to recall having subsequently found it on a website for Time magazine or something like that. I think the photo appeared in the magazine.
